CRITERIA

The criteria established by the European Pilates Assotiation partners to develop their own learning styles require that all their theoretical and practical lessons address all aspects of Yoga Pilates:
Concentration, control, execution of the exercises, the central control house or power, fluidity in movement, precision in executing the exercises, relaxation and mindful anatomy applied to this method.

The primary goal of EPA is to ensure that its members provide to the participants of the courses, the development of a comprehensive, clear and precise statement of factors involved in its formation, raising the level of theoretical and practical knowledge that will enable practitioners developing the skills needed in this area.

STRUCTURE OF THE TRAINING

The European Assotiation Pilates also requires its partners to offer a range of training options that will disseminate the lessons and knowledge on the possible modalities of training.

The formula suggested by the association are

Annual Programs:
With a schedule of dates and times to be developed on the basis of each partner, and depending on the chosen field while ensuring hours of training, study and practice to ensure minimum standards of quality and expertise we are seeking.

Residential Programs

Formulas intensive approach to free members, adapted to the limited resource of time and discipline, while ensuring minimum levels of knowledge and / or practices.

Postgraduate
Once the training programs at its highest level, partners can develop a series of short modules, according to choose the direction and discretion of the partner to complete, improve and expand knowledge and previously acquired certificates.

The content of these modules is always short supervised and approved by EPA Partners must ensure that the educational system is designed to allow students to combine their education with the availability of time and place of residence.

DEGREE

The European Pilates Association. (EPA) issued degrees.

EPA grants diplomas and certificates of training in Yoga, Pilates, once achieved the required theoretical and practical levels.
In the case of students who expressly disclaim to the final evaluation, EPA awarded Certificates of Attendance to the course.

Full Training Program structure:

Instructor YP
(2nd Cycle equivalent to other disciplines and / or Associations)

Professor YP
(equivalent to the 4 th cycle of other disciplines and / or Associations)

Postgraduate YP
(equivalent to the 5th cycle of other disciplines and / or Associations)

The design of this structure is gradual and continuous, so that the transition from one cycle to the next should always be certified to ensure that training is appropriate to the level that is accessed.

In cases of alterations made in this continuity, it must conduct the testing required to determine the possible need for a special training course.
The student, from the first stage of this whole program, which will leave fully trained and trained to teach the exercises and postures studied on the style, but also understood that the formation of a full career can only be achieved through the acquisition of the 4th ; cycle.

Instructor YP

This type of training does not only include the study of postures and exercises, but will have to make special emphasis on the corrections based on a greater knowledge of anatomy and devote special attention to pedagogical skills.

The implementation period of the course should be adapted so that students can begin to learn basic concepts, bearing in mind that it is a first phase and considerations relating to the practice and teaching.

Professor YP

Repeated Instructor YP format but with an increase in the demand for knowledge and practice staff.
Here we end with the knowledge required in this last cycle of regular training to enable the participant as a full career of teaching Yoga-Pilates.

Postgraduate YP

The selection of modules may be mixed, including mandatory modules (modules from the approved and defined by the association) and self-test modules developed by the partners themselves, these having been previously approved by EPA.

THE STRUCTURE OF THE COURSES
